We are often asked which fonts can be used in embroidery. In an effort to make it easier for you to design the perfect vest or cape, I'm including links and some images to give you an idea of what is available.
HATCH FONTS
We have the fonts are the native to our embroidery software. These are the easiest to work with and have fewest issues with things like uneven letter spacing that is commonly found in fonts that are purchased separately. 3rd Party Fonts
These are fonts that we have purchased separately that were professionally created for embroidery. I've included samples below, but there are a lot of them. For example, if I like the font "Brithney" from this first picture, I would click on the link above and find the "Brithney" pdf and open it. Don't worry about the MM numbers listed beside some of the fonts. Those are references for minimum ideal stitch sizes, but I will let you know if the font you choose will not work for the size you need once I have done the digitizing needed.
Text Fonts
Before we get to the pictures of the 3rd party fonts, there is also another option. The software we use also has the capability of converting most text fonts into embroidery, but since it does this automatically, the results do not always stich out as cleanly as the embroidery fonts do. If you're ok with these possible variations, you can send us the font file you'd like used for your design, just remember that we can't make any guarantees.
At larger sizes it will use satin stitching that is wider than recommended, which can make it more prone to snagging. Issues like this can be avoided by using a fill stitch for the font instead. 
If you would like to use a text font. there is a $3 fee for this option since it requires a little extra work on our end, but you can find the listing to add it by searching "Text Font" in the search bar or clicking HERE.
