The best way to clean your vest varies depending on the type of material you choose.
For waterproof fabrics
For most dirt and stains, it can be easily removed with a damp cloth and cleaning solution.
For cotton fabrics
Spot cleaning is recommended by the manufacturer, but I have also had success in the washing machine on a cold delicate cycle and then laying flat to dry. The cotton is not as colorfast as the waterproof so keep this in mind when choosing a detergent.
The vest or cape may be pressed for a crisp look. This is best done with firm pressure from the back of the vest.
